Gemini 7 Crew

Design № 171289

Launched on December 4, 1965, Gemini 7 set a new record of nearly 14 days for the longest crewed spaceflight.

Mission commander Frank Borman and pilot James Lovell carried two different versions of their mission patch as mementos aboard the spacecraft. One was the version they worn on their space suits. However, this is a replica of the other rare version of the mission patch, known as the Crew Souvenir version. Neither of the two crew patch versions were ever made available commercially and as a result original vintage examples of either are extremely rare.
