Our apologies the entire state of Indiana

It doesn’t happen too often but we made a mistake and left off that state of Indiana on this patch.

The GREAT NORTH AMERICAN ECLIPSE 2024

In 2017 the Great American Eclipse excited thousands across the country as the patch of totality spanned the contiguous states from Oregon to South Carolina. The beauty of eclipses is that future ones can be accurately predicted and so we knew seven years ago that the next Total Solar Eclipse in North America would be on April 8, 2024.

This patch celebrates this next total eclipse that will span Mexico, eleven U.S. states from Texas to Maine and exit North America over New Brunswick Canada. The path of totality is prominently illustrated across the North American Continent. The date is ghost stitched in the Pacific. The Names of the countries are embroidered in the colors of their National Flags. The list of U.S. states are indicated by their postal abbreviations in the order they experience totality. Finally, the path of the Moon across the Sun is shown in the sky with the moment of totality illustrated by the rays of the corona.
