Co-Designer: Jorge Cartes

Completed: March 2020

Our original intention was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope but the pandemic had other ideas. The actual patch wasn't manufactured until May 2021 but was well received by the space community.

On the left, depicts the launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-31, the 35th mission of NASA's Space Shuttle program. The primary purpose of this mission was the deployment of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) into low Earth orbit. The mission lifted off from Launch Complex 39B on April 24, 1990, from Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The HST is prominently displayed on the patch with the original set of solar arrays.

The NASA and ESA space agency logos complete the design.
