Sixteenth Discovery flight. A Spartan satellite was deployed to study the solar corona. The ATLAS-2 was used to measure upper atmospheric variations around the Earth. Landed at Kennedy Space Center, FL. on April 17, 1993. Mission Duration: 222 hours 8 minutes 24 seconds.
